Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website.
What you can do
- Make the text bigger. Use your browser’s zoom: press Ctrl and + (or ⌘ and + on a Mac), or pinch on a phone. The pages are built to reflow at larger sizes.
- Use the keyboard only. Press Tab to move through links and buttons; the one you are on is outlined. The first Tab on any page offers “Skip to the main content”.
- Use a screen reader. Pages use headings, landmarks (menu, main content, footer), labelled forms and descriptive link text. Pictures that only decorate are hidden from screen readers.
- Reduce motion. If your device is set to reduce motion, the scrolling notices and counting numbers stay still.
- Search. The search page finds programmes, pages, news and notices without needing the menu.
Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA on this website. Some older parts, and the pages on the student, staff and applicant portal, may not meet it fully yet, and we are improving them.
