Lens Polytechnic Offa wishes to state clearly that all admission processes and payments — including application fees, acceptance fees, and tuition — are made strictly online through our official student portal. The school does not appoint agents to collect payments in cash or through personal bank accounts. Please report any suspicious request to info@lenspolytechnic.edu.ng.
How to apply, step by step
Seven steps from application to student. You do all of it on the portal, from any phone or computer.

Create your application
Start on the student portal with your name, email address, phone number and the programme you want. You choose your own password.

Verify your email
We send a code to your email address. Enter it to activate your application.

Pay the application fee
Pay on the portal by card, bank transfer or USSD, through the payment gateway it offers. Nothing is valid if paid anywhere else.

Entrance exam (when required)
Some admission rounds include an entrance exam, held on paper. The admissions office records your score; you do not need to do anything on the portal.

Admission decision
The admissions office reviews applications and admits candidates to a programme and level. Sign in to “Check my application” any time to see where you stand.

Accept your offer
Accept on the portal. Depending on the round that means paying an acceptance fee, or simply pressing Accept when the round has none.

Become a student
Once you accept, your student record is created and you receive your matric number. Sign in to the student portal with your matric number or email and the same password you applied with.

What each programme asks for
Every ND programme needs 5 O’Level credit passes, obtained in not more than two sittings, in subjects relevant to the programme. HND entry is based on a relevant ND result.

How do I apply?
Online, on our official student portal. Choose “Apply now”, create your application and follow the steps above. There is no paper form and no other way to pay.
How much are the fees?

Is there an entrance exam?
Not in the current round. If a later round includes one, it is shown here and on the portal.
How will I know if I have been admitted?
Sign in to “Check my application” on the portal with the email and password you applied with. An admitted candidate sees the offer, the programme and level, and can download the admission letter.
What is the acceptance fee?
A fee paid after you are admitted, to accept your place. Some rounds have an acceptance fee, some combine it with the application fee, and some have none. The portal shows what applies to you before you pay.
Can I apply for HND or direct entry?
Yes, where the programme offers HND (see the table below). HND entry is based on a relevant ND result. Direct-entry applicants are placed by the admissions office when it admits them.
When do I get my matric number?
Once you accept your offer and your student record is created. Depending on the round, the number may already be on your admission letter.
I forgot my password.
Use “Forgotten password” on the sign-in page. A reset code is sent to the email address you applied with.
Who may I pay?
Only the school’s official student portal. The school does not appoint agents and never collects payments in cash or into personal bank accounts. Report anyone who asks you to: info@lenspolytechnic.edu.ng.
